Myriam Rivera-Gonzales serves as Senior Paralegal to founding attorney Nick M. Bajalia and is an integral member of the Bajalia Law Firm litigation team. With more than 40 years of legal experience, she has built a distinguished career supporting attorneys and clients in complex litigation matters. Known for her precision, organization, and attention to detail, Myriam plays a vital role in every stage of the litigation process. Her responsibilities include case investigation, litigation support, document drafting, complex e-discovery management, file organization, and maintaining effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Before joining Bajalia Law Firm, Myriam built an extensive legal career with respected firms including Martin, Banks, Pond, Lehocky, LLP in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; McConnaughhay, Roland, Maida & Cherr, P.A. in Pensacola, Florida; and Walborsky, Bradley & Fleming, among others. Her experience spans a broad range of litigation, including employment law, criminal defense, workers’ compensation, and complex civil litigation representing both plaintiffs and defendants. She also previously served as a licensed Claims Examiner, Litigation Specialist, and Workers’ Compensation Adjuster with Sedgwick of Florida, Inc., providing her with valuable insight into the insurance and claims process.
Prior to her legal career, Myriam proudly served in the United States Air Force. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Administration from the University of Arizona and an Associate of Arts in Legal Studies from St. John’s University. Her diverse professional background, military service, and more than four decades of litigation experience make her an invaluable resource to the firm’s attorneys and clients alike.
